Flydubai has resumed its regular international flight operations on the Chattogram–Dubai route after a suspension of around one year and seven months, authorities said today (1 April).
According to a press release issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, the airline last operated an international flight from Shah Amanat International Airport on 31 August 2024 before halting services due to various constraints.
Following efforts by the aviation regulator and airport authorities, Flydubai has restarted daily scheduled operations on the route from today. The airline will operate one inbound and one outbound flight each day.
As part of the resumed schedule, flight FZ563 arrived in Chattogram from Dubai at 8:45am on Wednesday, while the return flight FZ564 departed for Dubai at 9:45am.
With the resumption, the airport will see an increase of 14 international flights per week, including arrivals and departures.
