The government will launch an emergency measles vaccination drive for children aged six months to 10 years from Sunday (5 April).
Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain shared the information with reporters today (1 April) after a meeting at the Secretariat.
He said that, as an emergency measure, the government is set to borrow 2.19 crore doses of measles vaccines from Gavi (Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation), adding that the doses will be returned later.
