Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will participate in the question-and-answer session at the parliament today (1 April).
As per parliamentary practice, the first 30 minutes of today’s question-and-answer session have been allocated for the prime minister to respond to questions.
Today’s agenda also includes question-and-answer sessions related to the Ministry of Water Resources, the Law and Justice Division, the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division, the Ministry of Public Administration, the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, and the Bangladesh Public Service Commission Secretariat.
The next segment will include the disposal of notices received under the Drawing Attention to Matters of Urgent Public Importance (Rule-71) and the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address.
Among the notices received under the Drawing Attention to Matters of Urgent Public Importance (Rule-71), three accepted notices will be discussed in today’s sitting.
These include controlling pirates in the Sundarbans, permanently protecting Daulatpur and Shibalaya upazilas of Manikganj-1 constituency from river erosion and construction of a bridge over the Kangsha River of the Netrokona-Birishiri highway.
