The United States Department of Homeland Security has listed 10 Bangladeshi nationals on its publicly searchable immigration enforcement database – “Arrested: Worst of the Worst” – which tracks “criminal aliens” arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Under DHS leadership, DHS and ICE personnel are fulfilling President Donald Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations – starting with the worst of the worst – including the illegal aliens you see here, reads a statement on the department’s website.
The database, launched in December 2025, allows the public to filter arrests by country of origin and state. According to records visible on the site, Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested across multiple US states on charges ranging from sex assault to drug offences and fraud.
Among the 10 listed are Kazi Abu Sayeed, arrested in Fort Scott, Kansas, on charges of exploitation of a minor, bookmaking and gambling; and Mohammed Ahmed, arrested in Buffalo, New York, on charges of sex assault – carnal abuse and sex offence.
Also listed is Md Hossain from Queens, New York, facing a sex assault – carnal abuse charge, and Shahed Hassan, arrested in Raleigh, North Carolina, on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and shoplifting.
Others named include Mahtabuddin Ahmed, arrested in Chantilly, Virginia, on charges of marijuana selling and hallucinogen distribution; Newaz Khan, arrested in Marlin, Texas, on dangerous drugs charges; Shaharia Abir, arrested in Pensacola, Florida, on larceny charges; and Alomgir Chowdhury, arrested in Mount Clemens, Michigan, on charges of fraud through illegal use of credit cards.
Istiaq Rafi, arrested in Manassas, Virginia, faces weapon offence and synthetic narcotic possession charges, while Konok Parvez was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona, on a fraud charge.
Specific arrest dates were not available on the website.
The DHS database records arrests, not convictions. Individuals listed may not have been tried or found guilty.
The database is part of the Trump administration’s broader immigration enforcement push, which has seen ICE operations intensify across the country.
A search for India on the same database returns 11 pages of results, with 12 individuals listed per page – indicating a significantly larger number of Indian nationals in the database compared to Bangladeshis.
Similarly, a search for Pakistan yields four pages of results, with 12 individuals on each of the first three pages and four on the last, bringing the total to 40 Pakistani nationals listed on the database.
