At least 20 people were reportedly injured in a clash between two rival groups over a previous dispute at Goalnagar union in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria this afternoon (17 March).
Officer-in-Charge of Nasirnagar Police Station Shahinur Islam said police rushed to the scene and brought the situation under control.
“No case has been filed by either party so far. However, police have been deployed in the area to prevent further clashes,” he said.
The identities of the injured could not be known immediately. They received treatment locally.
