Prof SM Abdul-Awal appointed as PM’s principal coordinator for SDGs

Professor SM Abdul-Awal has been appointed as the principal coordinator for SDGs in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification to this end yesterday (15 March).

Prof Abdul-Awal has been appointed on contractual basis with the rank of Secretary to the Government.

He will enjoy salary and other benefits from the date of joining on the condition of renouncing any other profession, business or employment relationship with any government, semi-government, private institution/organisation, for the term of the prime minister or subject to his satisfaction (whichever occurs earlier), the notification said.
