The benchmark index DSEX of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell in the opening session today (8 March), extending its losing streak to a fourth straight session amid fears of energy supply uncertainty linked to the United States-Israel war on Iran.
During the session from 10am to 10:20am, the DSEX dropped by 108 points to 5,132. The blue-chip DS30 index also declined by 44 points to 1,966.
Among the traded issues, 287 declined, 40 advanced and 35 remained unchanged.
