Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury yesterday (4 March) returned to his Gulshan residence after receiving treatment under close medical observation for four days at a city hospital.
“Sir returned home in the afternoon. Doctors have advised him to take complete rest,” said the minister’s personal assistant, Shahiduzzaman.
He said the minister is continuing urgent official work from home.
“The minister attended to urgent official work even while in hospital and is now continuing his duties from home,” Shahiduzzaman added.
Khasru was admitted to United Hospital in Gulshan on 1 March after being diagnosed with pneumonia.
Amir Khasru, also a member of the BNP Standing Committee, was elected MP from the Chattogram-11 constituency in the 13th parliamentary election.
