Leah Sava Jeffries has shut down the rumor that she is in a relationship with her Percy Jackson and the Olympians costar Walker Scobell.
The 17-year-old actress, who stars alongside Walker in the Disney+ series, wants fans to stop speculating about any real-life romantic relationship between the two young actors.
“I ship Percy and Annabeth, mind you, not Walker and Leah,” Leah said in an interview with Variety.
“We have to get it out here,” she continued.
For those unaware, Leah and Walker play Percy and Annabeth in Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
The actress told the publication that she and Walker both think their onscreen love is a “beautiful relationship.”
Leah then quipped about how fans interpret even the most trivial interactions between them as proof of a romantic relationship.
“The funny part is, we won’t look at each other, and [fans will] be like, ‘They love each other so much that they won’t look at each other.’ But then we’ll look at each other [and fans are like], ‘Wow, look at him looking at her,” the Beast actress said.
So like, should I become blind? What’s going on, y’all?” she added.
It is worth mentioning here that season three of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will premiere on Friday, November 20, on Disney+ and Hulu.
