Michael J Fox makes a surprise appearance on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his longtime friend, anchor George Stephanopoulos.
On Thursday, the Back to Future star stepped out to show his support to Good Morning America anchors George and Robin Roberts as they received stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 65-year-old actor, who has been battling with Parkinson’s disease since 1991, arrived in a wheelchair and gave a speech to honour his close pal.
“One of the funny things about being with George all these years, if he calls you at seven in the morning, it’s to make lunch plans,” Michael joked.
“And dinner’s 5:30, and he’s running out the door at 6 o’clock. I think it’s a ruse not to pay the bill.”
The actor also reminisced over the quality time he spend with George on their family trips.
“We’ve gone to Greece twice,” Michael recalled, “If you ever want to be invisible, go to Greece with George Stephanopoulos. No one will ever see you.”
The Canadian actor then joined by George’s fellow GMA anchor Michael Strahan and actress Niecy Nash-Betts who also paid tribute the the honorees by sharing funny moments and emotional stories while celebrating George and Robin.
Notably, both anchors received stars next to each other which marked the 2,862nd and 2,863rd additions to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
