Voting in Dhaka-3 has become easier for residents as candidates arrange special transport to bring voters to polling centres today (12 February).
In front of Shahid Nagar School and College in Keraniganj, supporters of Md Sultan Ahmed Khan of Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) and Goyeswar Chandra Roy of BNP were seen offering motorised rickshaw rides.
Voters are being taken to the polling centre and back home safely. The centre is located a little away from the main road.
Supporters of BNP candidate Goyeswar Chandra Roy said they hired around fifty rickshaws and will pay the drivers for a full day’s work.
