The BNP has dissolved the 51-member convening committee of its Dhaka North City unit, which was led by convenor Aminul Haque and member secretary Mostafa Zaman.
The decision was announced in a press release issued today (30 September) signed by BNP Assistant Office Secretary Muhammad Munir Hossain.
The notice said the committee had been dissolved “as instructed” but did not specify the reason for the decision.
The party said a new committee for Dhaka North City would be announced soon.
Earlier, the BNP expelled three Dhaka North City unit leaders from all party posts and its primary membership over alleged unethical and anti-organisational activities.
