The latest fuel price hike has pushed up prices of essential goods, with loose soybean oil rising Tk10 per litre and Chinese garlic Tk20 per kg.
Most vegetables have become Tk5-10 costlier per kg, while fish and egg prices have also increased, according to visits to various markets in the capital and conversations with buyers and sellers today (22 September).
