Multiple crude bombs exploded at Jatrabari Chourasta in the capital this evening (19 September), police said.
The explosions occurred in the evening, but police could not immediately confirm the number of crude bombs that went off.
Jatrabari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Raju told The Business Standard that the explosions at Jatrabari Chourasta were confirmed.
“We are working at the scene. More details will be provided later,” he said.
According to an internal police report, unidentified individuals detonated four crude bombs in front of Samad Super Market at Jatrabari Chourasta at around 7:35pm. A rickshaw driver, Md Billal, was injured in the incident.
Earlier, one crude bomb exploded in front of Jatrabari Police Station and three others went off in front of a police box at Jatrabari Chourasta yesterday (18 September). An autorickshaw driver was injured in the incident.
