Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez are all set to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.
The music producer recently appeared on the Today with Jenna & Sheinelle show, where he shared how he’ll celebrate his first wedding anniversary with the singer.
Blanco revealed that he and Selena plan to celebrate their anniversary by eating their wedding cake.
“I didn’t even know this was a thing. Her grandma, her nana told me this,” the 38-year-old said of Selena. “When we were at the wedding, she was like, ‘You gotta save the cake.’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean save the cake?’”
“And she was like, ‘You gotta save the cake.’ And I was like, ‘Why?’ She was like, ‘You have to eat it,’” continued Benny.
Then he was asked, “You have that little heart? Do you have the people on top? ”.
“We have the people on top. The full cake isn’t there because Marty ate part of the cake before we were supposed to do it,” Benny said of Selena’s good friend Martin Short.
“Then they had to put it back together,” he added.
For those unversed, Benny and Selena exchanged vows on September 27, 2025.
