The first phase of union parishad elections will be held on 12 November, while voting in the second phase will begin on 13 December, the Election Commission (EC) said today (14 September).
The EC plans to complete the union parishad elections in seven phases.
The first phase is planned to cover union parishads in 80 upazilas, while voting in the subsequent phases is dated 13 December, 30 December, 17 January, 4 February, 22 April and 27 May.
The EC announced the election schedule today.
