Selena Gomez’s marriage to Banny Blanco has played a key role in helping her achieve her biggest dream.
During the latest episode of the Friends Keep Secrets podcast, the 38-year-old music producer revealed that Selena got the chance to fulfill her childhood dream on their wedding day.
“We rented a palm tree farm and converted it into a — we just wanted to do something unconventional and Selena … she had a dream for a wedding since she was a kid,” said Benny.
“She’s like, ‘I want to walk down the aisle and I want the aisle to be, like, Persian rugs off centered. I don’t want normal flowers. I don’t want it to feel bougie,” he continued. “So it was, like, incredible and you could tell we put so much effort into it, but also didn’t feel, like, stuffy.”
Previously, an insider spilled the People magazine that the “vibe was so much fun” on Selena and Benny’s big day.
“There was so much love in the room,” the source said. “The ceremony moved guests to tears. They wrote their own vows, which were both funny and sentimental.”
For those unversed, Selena exchanged vows with Benny in Santa Barbara, California, in September 2025.
