Rider Strong recently named one thing from the 90s that he still cannot forget and becomes nostalgic every time he thinks about it.
While conversing with PEOPLE magazine to promote his campaign for Simple Mills that launched earlier last month, the 46-year-old American actor and director got honest about one 90s snack he loved.
When Strong was asked to share his favourite food, he responded, “Obviously any of my mom’s cooking; that’s way too specific and obvious.”
“You know what I used to eat all the time,” the Cabin Fever star asked, and then he said that it was “Tombstone Pizza.”
“That was the first thing I learned how to cook because I was just heating up something in an oven.”
Reflecting on his eating habits, especially when he was playing Shawn Hunter in the American coming-of-age sitcom Boy Meets World, created by Michael Jacobs and April Kelly, Strong revealed there was one beverage he was kind of addicted to.
He shared, “I drank so much coffee when I was at work, which is crazy because I was a teenager. I was always high on caffeine. I basically subsisted on coffee. We always had Red Vines, which is classic set food. I definitely ate my share of Red Vines.”
It is pertinent to mention that Rider Strong has now shifted his focus on “embracing the ‘90s in my life right now” because he spent “so much of my 20s and 30s avoiding the fact that I was on a TV show and trying to forget that and the world hasn’t let me forget.”
