Dhaka South administrator makes surprise visit to Khilgaon office, orders action against absentees

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator Md Abdus Salam conducted a surprise inspection of Regional Office 2 (Khilgaon, Tilpapara) this morning  (2 September).

He arrived there at 10am, with the main gate closed to prevent late-arriving officials and employees from entering the premises.

During the inspection, the administrator visited each room and checked the attendance of officers and employees.

He also examined the attendance registers of each section and instructed officials to immediately mark absent employees as “absent” in the registers.

The administrator directed Regional Executive Officer Md Abu Aslam to issue show-cause notices to the absent officials and employees and subsequently take necessary action against them in accordance with the applicable rules.

During the inspection, he also placed particular emphasis on improving the quality of civic services.

The administrator instructed officials and employees of the regional office to actively monitor waste management and mosquito-control activities in the area and ensure their effective implementation.
