The Dhaka Education Board has directed all secondary schools under its jurisdiction to complete the selection examinations for 2027 SSC candidates and publish the results by 15 November.
The directive was issued in a notice signed by Dhaka Education Board Examination Controller Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu today (1 September).
According to the notice, the selection examinations for students seeking to sit for the 2027 SSC exams must begin on 15 October and be completed by 15 November. Results must also be published within the deadline.
The form-filling process for the 2027 SSC examinations will begin on 16 November, the notice said.
The board will issue a separate notice later with the detailed schedule and instructions for submitting examination forms.
Heads of all government and private secondary schools under the Dhaka Board have been instructed to take the necessary steps to complete the selection examinations and form-filling process within the stipulated deadlines.
The board described the directive as “extremely urgent”.
The 2027 SSC and equivalent examinations were initially scheduled to be held at the beginning of the year but were later postponed. Under the revised schedule, the examinations are set to begin on 14 March 2027.
