ZRF announces annual science fair to find Bangladesh’s future innovators

Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF) is set to organise the third edition of its annual science fair, ‘Finding Future Scientists-2026’, to showcase the innovative potential of Bangladesh’s young people at national and international levels.

The foundation announced the programme in a press release today (30 August).

Bangladeshi students, innovators, researchers, engineers and young technology enthusiasts aged 18 and above from public and private universities, medical colleges and technology institutions will be eligible to participate.

Interested students and teachers have been invited to register by 30 September.

According to the release, participants can submit original innovative projects in areas including artificial intelligence, robotics, agricultural technology, health technology, renewable energy and smart solutions.

Previously presented projects will not be accepted, and participants will be required to present their own models in person, it said.

Selected innovators will have the opportunity to present their projects before ZRF President and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Vice-President Dr Zubaida Rahman.

The top five winners will receive financial assistance to develop their projects into startups as part of an initiative to support them as new entrepreneurs.

The winners will also be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.
