The July Charter, signed collectively by political parties, will serve as a roadmap for the future of Bangladesh, State Minister for Religious Affairs Mohammad Shamim Kaiser has said.
The government is working to implement its commitments, he added while speaking at a meeting held at the Imam Training Academy in Chattogram today (29 August).
Kaiser called on all stakeholders to remain patient and work together to implement the commitments outlined in the July Charter.
He also urged people to highlight the positive initiatives of the current leadership while criticising any shortcomings constructively.
Constructive criticism would help those responsible for governance to refine their approach and provide them with an opportunity to implement their commitments more effectively, said the state minister.
During the visit, he also inspected the Hajj Camp and spoke with the imams.
