Goldie Hawn’s family is going through an emotional moment at home that every parent of college-going students will find relatable.
Goldie’s oldest son Oliver Hudson and his wife Erinn Hudson are bidding farewell to their oldest son Wilder, who recently moved out of home for college.
The doting mother, Erinn, who also shares son Bodhi, 16, and daughter Rio, 13 with Oliver, took to her Instagram and penned down a bittersweet note for Wilder, saying goodbye as he starts a new chapter of life.
Erinn revealed there were “lots of tears” as they drove Wilder to his new home.
The mom-of-three wrote, “This little guy turned 19 yesterday and we moved him into college last week. Lots of tears not gonna lie wow…..”
She went on to say, “But so happy and proud and excited for you Wildman!! Couldn’t love you more and counting the days till I can hug you and annoy you again.”
Erinn also posted a series of snaps from Wilder’s new home, a dorm which his parents turned into a comfortable space.
Aside from his studies, Wilder is already following in his famous grandmother and Aunt, Kate Hudson and his father’s footsteps as he already made his acting debut back in 2025 by getting featured in Netflix holiday rom-com A Merry Little Ex-Mas.
In the rom-com, Wilder played Oliver’s character Everett’s son, Gabriel.
Oliver previously revealed that his oldest son “wants to be an actor” in an interview with People in the same year.
Holding back his tears, he said at the time, “He was really nervous about it, because it was a big speech. I’m sitting there listening in the movie, and after his first take, I, for the first time, just started crying. Because I couldn’t believe that this was my son.”
