Queen Camilla is not convinced as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle come back to the UK.
The Queen Consort, who has been with King Charles through thick and thin, feels his younger son has an ulterior motive as he returns from across the pond.
An insider says: “Just because she was courteous and made nice the last time Harry was there doesn’t mean the bad blood has gone away. She’s still deeply resentful over what he said in Spare, and by all accounts there’s been no apology from Harry. And there’s not likely to be any apology because Harry is still just as resentful of her.”
They tell Heat World: “Harry admitted [in Spare] that he and William both begged their father not to marry her. Camilla always suspected they were being vicious behind her back but Harry finally confirmed it and she won’t soon forget it. She doesn’t trust him one bit, and even less now that he’s with Meghan.”
“Camilla is convinced they have ulterior motives and need to be kept at arms’ length, but she has to act as though she’s being open minded about this, since she promised the King she would be,” they note.
