China willing to deepen educational cooperation with Bangladesh: Yao Wen

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen has said China is willing to continue deepening educational cooperation with Bangladesh and help turn Chinese language skills into jobs and development opportunities for youth.

Ambassador Yao congratulated the official release of Bangladesh’s first Chinese language competency standard and course accreditation document.

Attending the closing ceremony of the “Validation Workshop on Competency Standards and Course Accreditation Document for the Chinese Language” hosted by the National Skills Development Authority of Bangladesh on Tuesday, he said the workshop represented a concrete step in implementing the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries.

Adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Md. Ismail Zabihullah and NSDA Executive Chairman Dr Nazneen Kawshar Chowdhury were among the attendees.

Adviser Ismail Zabihullah positively assessed the launch of the first Chinese language competency standard and course accreditation document.

He expressed the hope to take this workshop as an opportunity to deepen further practical cooperation between the two countries in various fields and jointly promote the forward development of Bangladesh-China relations.
