Tom Hardy had a secret role in Star Wars that fans might not be aware of.
The 48-year-old English actor, famed for his main character role in Venom does not shy away from taking small roles, as he made a brief appearance in The Last Jedi, the second film in the sequel trilogy.
The cameo role of the British actor was very small and undercover that eagle-eyed fans might have missed it.
Before the release of The Last Jedi, it was reported that Hardy would make a cameo as a Stormtrooper, but fans were left disappointed when they did not spot Hardy, as the recorded scenes did not make it to the final cut.
However, if Hardy’s part did not make it to the final cut, that does not mean it is completely lost.
It was later added in the ‘deleted scenes’ special segment that was put on the film’s Blu-ray release.
The scene unfolds when Rose (Kelly Marie Tran), Finn (John Boyega), and DJ (Benicio Del Toro) are infiltrating the First Order base in captain disguises. The part can be watched below.
It is not clear why Hardy’s scene did not make it to the final cut, but as per the video attached above, it’s more of a funny scene, so its inclusion or non-inclusion was not going to change the movie’s narrative.
Whether it made it to the final cut or not, at the end of the day, Hardy’s fans got to watch it.
