Hayden Panettiere’s estranged mother, Lesley Vogel, has shared her “beautiful” daughter to be remembered as a “talented and intelligent” woman.
In a new interview with ABC News, Lesley said that “I want Hayden to be remembered for the talented, you know, beautiful, outgoing, intelligent woman she really was.”
For those unversed, the Heroes actress was found unresponsive at her residence in Greenville, South Carolina, on August 16.
Following Hayden’s sudden death, Lesley told NBC News that “I think Hayden was an amazingly talented person in so many departments and I think young people who grow up in the entertainment industry — it is a struggle and it’s a very challenging industry and it’s not unusual for them to sadly find the wrong path.”
“I think it becomes very difficult to be true to yourself, and I think Hayden sadly lost her way, and I wish it were different. I wish she had stayed true to herself because she had many incredible attributes,” she continued.
Lesley added, “I just feel that she’s with her brother and they’re at peace,” Vogel told the outlet, referring to Panettiere’s younger brother, Jansen, who died unexpectedly at age 28 in 2023. Jansen died from aortic valve complications and an undiagnosed enlarged heart.
