It appears the real trouble in paradise is not emotional, or related to the marriage itself that Princess Beatrice and Edo Mapelli Mozzi enjoy. In truth the issue is said to stem from the lack of connections he’s allegedly now able to use, given his father in law has lost his royal lustre.
This allegation comes straight from commentator Phil Dampier. He spoke of this ‘downfall’ that the Italian Count is facing in a chat with Woman’s Day.
In his own words he claims, “With the former Prince Andrew now plain Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and being investigated by the police, and the Duchess of York now simply Sarah Ferguson, some friends of Beatrice believe Edo has lost interest in his ‘royal connections’.”
What he did make clear on a personal note is that “one told me : ‘It would be unfair to say Edo didn’t love Bea when they got married but a lot of people thought he was happy to use his kudos as being married to a royal to further his business interests’.”
However, according to the commentator there is truth to the fact that “since Bea’s parents have been stripped of their powers he has not been keen to be seen with them.” Moreover, “on the one hand you can understand it, but it seems a bit disloyal at a time of need when the family needs support.”
This is even said to be weighing on Bea because she “has not been herself” and “the strain has told on her.” Reportedly “she looks tired and has lost weight with worry. She is worried sick about her parents and now her marriage.”
As for what caused Andrew to face such a potential fate, its connected to the reasons he got his titles, his dukedom and his honors revoked, which is his connection to a child sex offender like Jeffrey Epstein.
Furthermore, was the allegation that he engaged in misconduct while in public office, as a Trade Envoy to the UK. Some say during this time he even shared information with Epstein.
