Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could cause serious damage to the monarchy with their latest move.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have decided to return to England six years after exiting their position as senior Royals, have put the Royal institution in jeopardy.
“It’s a huge slap in the face for William, and it does also create serious risks for the monarchy,” royal reporter Tom Sykes told Page Six.
The expert adds that the decision has put Prince William in a tricky “situation”, adding that “there’s no way that the late Queen Elizabeth II would’ve allowed this to happen.”
Prince Harry left the Royal Family back in 2020 alongside wife Meghan Markle and son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showcasing racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
