In Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s industry-shaking rap beef, Druski, an actor/comedian, made it clear which side he is on.
In an interview with GQ, the influencer candidly described Drizzy as his “brother.”
“That’s my brother. I don’t care about what’s hot at the moment or what’s going on,” he said.
“I’m just big on loyalty. I just supported a friend throughout that whole endeavor,” the star added.
Druski outrightly positioned himself in Drake’s camp, and a few moments in 2025 led some fans to believe he is a fervent supporter of the Toronto rapper.
It was when, on two separate occasions — both at award shows — he apparently avoided Lamar backstage.
The clips unexpectedly went viral.
However, Druski clarified in the GQ interview that the controversy was unnecessarily exaggerated.
“That was not intentional,” the comic said, adding, “Social media will take these clips and spin them however they want to spin it.”
Beyond the clarification, Drake and Druski’s ties date back many years.
When the comedian entered the industry, Drizzy backed him. He also appeared in the Grammy winner’s Laugh Now Cry Later.
Meanwhile, Druski has landed a massive project involving Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone and Chris Pine.
It is the forthcoming baseball rom-com The Catch.
