4 addl SPs, 5 ASPs transferred in latest police reshuffle

The government has transferred nine senior police officers, including four additional superintendents of police (Addl SPs) and five assistant superintendents of police (ASPs), in the latest reshuffle.

The transfers were announced in a notification signed by Inspector General of Police Md Ali Hossain Fakir today (11 August).

Among the four Addl SPs, Police Headquarters officer Md Zakaria Rahman has been transferred to Shariatpur, while Kazi Md Salahuddin has been posted to Chandpur.

Chandpur Addl SP Md Lutfur Rahman has been transferred to Cumilla, while Rangpur Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Shariful Alam has been posted to Rangpur district.

Among the five ASPs, Dhaka Metropolitan Police officer Sagar Sarker has been transferred to the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI).

Mymensingh Special Armed Forces officer Tahmina Akter has been posted to Fulbaria Circle in Mymensingh, while Fulbaria Circle ASP Md Rakibur Rahman has been transferred to Pangsha Circle in Rajbari.

Chattogram Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Siraj Ud Doula has been transferred to the Highway Police, while Rajsthali Circle ASP Md Nurul Amin has been posted to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
