Rain likely across country: BMD

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain in all the divisions in 24 hours commencing 9am today (1 August). 

“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” the Met office said.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over the North Bay.
